The demographics were terrified of the squeeze page. Just what did I do that made such a big impact in my sales and just finally took off? The reality is I use a presell page. Now, for those of you who aren’t familiar with presell page, just imagine this: you walk up to the most beautiful person in the world like and you’re like, “You’re the most beautiful woman in the world, I want to have two kids, picket fence, live in a small town and have a golden retriever.” Pow! And you get slapped immediately, because you’re moving too fast and there are a few people that will be like, “Yes, hallelujah. That’s exactly what I want. Let’s get married now. There’s a little white chapel down the street. It’s Vegas. Everything can happen.” Not really going to happen to most anywhere else in the world.
So what happens is, marketers we’re usually moving way too fast, you need to finesse your prospects. You need to basically, woo your prospects the same way you would do a date, husband and wife stuff. You woo them as you into in a relationship and marriage and love and all those stuff and you should probably maybe have a loveable marriage. But either way, what I’m trying to say is, you need to basically woo your prospects. That’s what you use in a presell page. Now, as much as I like to say that it’s super easy, what’s easy and simple are two different things. What happens, there are certain psychology that goes into creating a presell page. There are certain things you need to say. There are certain ways you need to say. There are certain questions you have to ask and they need to be asked in the right order or this puppy will not work. Will work better than, well actually a bad presell page is about as bad as having a bad opt-in page. You drive traffic to it, yeah there’s occasional somebody who will click through, buy something, but a good presell page will warm your prospects, will basically have your prospects ready to go, wanting your product and they’ll wonder why they didn’t get it sooner, where you’ve been all their life.
