What’s New in DaVinci Resolve 12

What’s New in DaVinci Resolve 12 is an in-depth look at the new features and workflow enhancements found in Blackmagic Design’s flagship editing and color finishing software, Resolve 12. If you’re already familiar with our previous Resolve training titles, or you already know Resolve 11 you’ll discover dozens of new features that will help you edit, grade, and finish your projects faster and smoother than ever.

You’ll explore Resolve’s dramatically improved trimming functionality, including multi-selection trims, and the expanded features of the dynamic trimming mode. You’ll learn all about Resolve’s great new multicam editor, the new Transition Curves Editor, and the new editable paths for creating faster animations right in the Edit Page.

Audio editing and mixing has been vastly improved, and you’ll be taken through the process of setting up your timeline for automated level recording, applying Audio Unit and VST filters, and exporting to ProTools. You’ll get a look at the new media management commands which let you move, copy or transcode media in the media pool, and Smart Bins that let you quickly organize your clips using metadata.
